Lean Six Sigma
Lean Six Sigma On-Site Training
The Business Training Center will send instructors to your company to train Green Belts in a group environment. We’ll customize the course to meet your needs, help establish substantial project goals for ROI, and save you training costs and travel time.
Multi-Level Lean Six Sigma Training Available
Although the primary focus of our on-site Lean Six Sigma Training program is to develop Green Belts, we highly recommend concurrent training of Yellow Belts and Executive Champions. Our Green Belt training is an intense project driven program typically taking 5 to 7 days. And since we customize the on-site training to your organization’s goals and objectives, the on-site training format allows us to go beyond the normal Yellow Belt and Executive Champion training by including them in the actual project review (including the charter, metrics, and goals). It is typically a low cost additions and coordinating the training of these other project participants, such as Yellow Belts and Champions, solidifies the overall process and enhances the chance for successful project completion.
On-Site Training Is Project Driven
Each Green Belt training program participant is encouraged to complete a project of significant value to their organization. These projects require the completion of a Project Charter that describes the project, details the objectives, lists the project’s team members, includes an estimate of all project costs and a comprehensive project timeline. The Project Charter must be approved by both the organization’s management as well as the Seminars International training leader. Participants from the same organization may be involved with the same project.
This Green Belt on-site training focuses on the concepts, theories, and tools of the Lean Enterprise and Six Sigma as used in both a manufacturing and transactional environment. The program covers the methods used in Lean and Six Sigma such as continuous flow, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), Kaizen, process mapping, the 5S’s, the DMAIC, self-directed work methodology, the Kanban system, design for manufacturing, and value steam mapping just to name a few.
